Project: New World Cromwell Enabling Civil Works

Description:
Strata Civil was engaged to deliver the enabling civil works for the New World Cromwell extension.
Scope of works included:
Insitu Concrete retaining wall construction along with an acoustic fence on top to reduce the car park noise for nearby residents.
Drainage installation within site and within Waenga Drive. This included working with existing AC pipes and other services, as well as carefully planned water shutdowns and wastewater diversions
Bulk earthworks to remove existing infrastructure and re-grade the new access road and reserve.
Pavement construction for a new raised table in Waenga Drive, new access road into the carpark, renovated carpark and new pathways throughout site and the upgraded reserve.
Delivery of a freshly upgraded landscaped reserve, including new street furniture, pathways, decorative poles and lots of planting.
This project demanded a high level of planning and execution, particularly around live traffic environments, integration with existing infrastructure and working with stakeholders. Strata Civil’s team worked closely with Whitestone Contracting as a key subcontractor to assist delivering this large package of works.
